Yep I got SW ones for $30 @ big w last year. Seems like the SW ones are a one drop.

Lol, I don't know why they had to do another snowspeeder. If so then it won't be that far off from the old version with the addition of a few cheese slopes and updated minifigs.

Strange eBay tale:
Last night I receive an email asking if I would accept $150 for a set (3181) which I had listed for $170.
Sure no problem I send the buyer an email with an offer to sell for $150.
This morning he has paid $170.
PayPal has cleared no dramas, he has 100% positive feedback from a wide variety of sellers for high value sets. So I'm confident not a scam.
But he hasn't contacted me about overpaying. So I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Could be a case of the drunken ebayer. Forgot you agreed and paid up.

Thanks for the heads up, I had bought one from SFM for $450 and thought that was a good price given they actually pack stuff properly, however I picked up another one from Big W to bring my average down.  Package arrived within 2 days, no damage, pretty impressed with them.

Is there anything worth getting from LEGO Shop at Home for double VIP? I really want the London bus freebie but struggling to find anything that can't be found for 20% off somewhere else.

Yes that's the dilemma. Any set you see on there now will eventually turn up here discounted, and make you wonder why you bothered with LEGO LEGO Shop at Home. Even double VIP is only 10% off really and the bus is about to pull into eBay.

The race to the bottom will not be far from then so if you only want the bus, hang on a bit and you will get one for 10 bucks I reckon.

10 bucks for the bus? gheez thats low. but could be possible.

probably getting something that is close to retirement but that is anyone's guess as it is highly irregular... Getting anything new will always run the risk of it appearing in the store and then on a discount eventually.

It all depends on how many lego make. To say they'll be ten bucks is pessimistic.

I'm not selling any and I'd like one so I'd say I'm optimistic.  Maybe too much so but we will see. 

IR returned briefly, but is gone again.

 

Quick note for those who haven't tried it.

hydrogen peroxide 3% works AMAZING on white pieces. My old Snowspeeder looks brand new.
