I worry Lego is headed in the wrong direction again.

The way pricing is going with so many sets around the $500+ mark and small sets skimping on parts and big markups on price it's not really a kids toy anymore is it!

While I'd love the Porsche i still cant bring myself to pay $400 for it at 20% off during the Myer sale (before anyone asks yes Myer had some and they have already sold out)

Big Ben is/was available at Myer, best get into a store this weekend and try to get or order one.

I believe  Davjd Jones is getting the Beetle but unsure if its exclusive to them or not and when they will get it.

The Disney Castle seems to be exclusive to Lego everyone I've asked says they can't order it and if anyone is going to get it, that it will probably be a Myer or David Jones exclusive.

I think they have too much range available for too long. 

Looks like triple VIPs for the Europeans did the trick. A lot of sets on backorder.

Just checked and yeh, we still get a minifig.

Heheheh good point, how about for the London bus, ;).

Freebys are becoming less valuable as far as I can see. U.S and E.U retailers seem to give them away or sell them for peanuts meaning overseas customers have multiples to sell and can undercut just about anyone.

Big w have hobbit DVDs with lego minifigs for 50% off.

I'm waiting for staff member to find the boxes out the back. Even though I was called this morning they haven't made there way to the shelves yet.

40 bucks seems to be the going rate for SW Advent calendars. It'll probably just be one drop too. Last year Kmart had them for 30 bucks a pop, but not this time. Actually I haven't seen any SW advent calendars there. Perhaps they are yet to get them/put them out

how do the other calendars normally fair eol? I mean city and friends.
