Can anyone point me in the direction of some good padded mailers for sending polybags and CMFs?

There are a lot of listings for mailers and envelopes on ebay, but am wondering what others use.

$18.50 for 100 of them. 18.5c per envelope. Perfect for minifigs, polybags may be a squeeze though. I bought these for minifigs the other week.

We use the padded envelopes 2/3 of the time. Boxes from my link above , are great for polybags , or more than 2 minifigures .

Thanks, I normally grab the OW box when I'm there but this makes it a lot more cost effective.

I @Ryan Junior your link was to the same ebay seller as mine. 24.50 for 200 pretty good price per envelope.  I was thinking about getting them, but I'll be pushing it to use all of them in a 6 month period so I got the hundjy box. Also, a box of 200 would be the cubic size of a modular set!  I guess if anyone could use them all in 6 months then they would be doing well sale wise.

My rule is to not pay retail for a modular until it is retired or confirmed imminent EOL. I have a few (def far from a king's ransom) PCs and PSs, but all except for one (my 1st ever investment purchase, which I got at 5% off retail) were bought 20% off.

20% down already, so a minimum of 100%  ROI should hopefully be easily reached post EOL. I know it's hard to get them at the Myer sales, but I've been buying them one at a time at each sale. You can find these elusive beasts if you get in early enough, but it is possible. I'm still kicking myself for lay-buying 2x 10240s from Toyworld at retail as I could have bought them for 25% off at TRU 2 weeks ago. Oh well, you live and learn. That set could also linger around for ages but it's too late, as the purchase has already been made.

For these reasons I'm personally not interested in a 20 dollar voucher on a PS (7.5% off). Buying a PC would work out better (10% off) but I predict those will disappear real quick. Also remember that the 20 dollar voucher can only be used on a separate transaction.

I'd say I'm bearish on TLM sets. Benny's spaceship wasn't really selling like hotcakes even at $100 on the Target website a week ago. Then again, I'm an generally a long-hold investor and looking for sets with higher growth potential. I may be proven wrong though as some TLM sets might do well.

 

 

I'm in money conservation mode atm, as I have 4 weeks unpaid for Xmas and work is likely gonna be real slow in Q1 and 2 next year.

However,  I spoke to my local Myer rep and he has set aside the following for me; 1x Poes X wing @ 99.00, 1x Ecto @ 20% off (due to a lot of begging and arse kissing lol), which means that with those two I can get a free City Racing Bike Transporter with my 20 buck voucher. Both X wing and Bike Transporter have been price-matched to Big W and Kmart prices respectively. 

 

Anyway, that's my the end of my little rant. It's been a real bludgy day at work today so I've had time to compose a long post. It's almost lunch time now, and time to visit my guy @ Myer.

Never kick yourself for buying retail, at least you'll have the set and if it poofs without warning your laughing. I often buy things at RRP and I'm still going ok

Well if you believe the rumours the "new" modular may be none other than the Ghostbusters HQ. Seem to have some credibly as the Ecto-1 should have been retired by now...

I can't imagine Lego doing the Ghostbusters HQ , as part of the modular series. It doesn't seem to fit with all the other modulars (Theme wise) . 

I've seen the GB story.  Apparently it's from a reliable source, 4400pc and 350 RRP USD , and will be released in January . But who knows if it's not a hoax? 

If they release that,  what will happen to ecto-1? Will it come in the set, or will everyone have to buy both sets? Something just doesn't sit right with me regarding this news. 

Been searching around my local Big Wsss for the City Explorer Ship....guess i am too late as i cannot see it on the shelves at all. It cannot even be ordered online too, argh frustrating....anyone got any luck this sales period? I know Myer have them at not the so attractive discount...

4000++ pcs? that will be a jumbo set but i seriously doubt it. I hope it will come out too in some form but it could be less maybe 2000+ pcs could sound right to Lego. If anything it might be a standalone and doesn't belong to the modular string of buildings. But we do need a theme? Even Haunted House belong to the MF theme....
