The Brick Fan just revealed some more minifigures, one of which is the Chewbacca minifigure.  We've been waiting for a new Chewy for a while now.  What are your thoughts on the new minifigures?

Jedi Hunter Frontier (75051)

Contains 4 minifigures: Jek-14, unnamed Ithorian Jedi Master, RA-7 Protocal Droid, unnamed Astromech Droid. The set could be another one based on The Yoda Chronicles.

Mos Eisley Cantina (75052)

Looks to have 7 minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Greedo, Sandtrooper, and 3 Bith musicians of the Cantina Band who have Squidward

Agreed. I already have the Walmart exclusive Landspeeder from a couple years ago; like we need another so soon that will probably end up just being exactly the same.

The BrickMaster version was way better. This is simply a paper thin version of that; a cardboard cutout if you will.

Hmm, seems alright. I'd mostly want those minifigure heads in dark red honestly.

These sets are already available in the UK. They should start to sell in the USA and other countries by February/March.

I've heard from a reputable member on Eurobricks that they will be released sometime before or on January 31st in the U.S. The member is legoboy12345678 who is a well known Youtube member who recently changed his name to Solid Brix Studios on Youtube. Here is the quote from Eurobricks.com.

If there not released on the 1st of January with everything else, then its gonna be the end of the month (and probably Toysrus is gonna get it two weeks eariler), this same thing happened in 2012, I wouldnt be surprised.

I don't watch his videos (to be honest just not my taste) but I'd imagine he has several thousand. That ARC 170 looks pretty nice actually TOK. I like the small wings.

I will wait for the summer sets , I don't think any money need to be spent yet, maybe wait for deep discounts on all these

Chewy has to change the new one does not resemble him.If Lego makes him just one color i might like it more but i likr the troops design.

Yes, I brought it up in this thread. Some of us are thinking it will end up being the exclusive for "May the 4th". I guess it's neat; just not unique.

I don't see any investment winners in the early wave other than the battle packs. Still, I will almost certainly get one of each for use and display by my son and I.

Those battlepacks are all winners in my book. Maybe not huge gainers, but will be good for parting out at the right price for you parter-outers. Color scheme and minifigs in the police ship are pretty solid...I could see that being a winner if it's a Target exclusive or something.

Am I the only one who thinks the new "Cheebacca" is actually supposed to be Tarrful? (Did I spell his name right?)

Set 75043 AT-AP is definitely Tarrful, not Chewbacca.  I saw this set in person at TRU last Friday.  It was the only new Star Wars set they had out.  I am hoping they get some of the others, especially the battle packs, before the $20 off $75 expires this week.
