Ah, I guess that explains it. Sometimes things posted from a phone don't seem to show up on a computer for whatever reason. I don't know. There's technology for ya. :wacko:

They are on Amazon for 16.00 and it looks like they have over 999 left. I think maybe after christmas they could be gone. I have something like 5-6 but I may try to grab more soon.

Lego 6866, the Wolverine Chopper Showdown is not being sold by Amazon currently. Price has already shot up to $31.99. These can still be had at other major retailers like Walmart. If you sell on Amazon, you may want to shop for some ASAP.

Truck backed up once or twice on that one. Slamming deal @ 14 at Target last month. Amazing how that's worth 30 already.

Like most sets at the msrp 20 dollar price point.  It will be a long time before a person will yield high returns on this set unless a person has a break even proposition of selling the minifigures and keeping a free helicopter.

Yep, and it's also available on LEGO Shop at Home.  I just grabbed 5 from Target just in case.

Worth it at Canadian retail (24.99)? $15 would be excellent! It`s a great set, but only bought 1 for the collection thus far. 

As we speak, the last few at Yoyo (last corporate outlet) was snatched up. It's all resellers dominate that item on Amazon. It's been almost 72 hours since Amazon ran out. We'll see how long that last.

And just now, Amazon has put it back online as available from them for $15.20 that people can backorder and they say it is due back in stock on Nov 30th. Yoyo apparently found more too.

So glad I didnt start panic buying on this one. That last sale Target had on the Superheroes line has me spoiled. I wanna get this set at 13 bucks or below...

I'm interested to see how many everyone picked up. I only managed a few but I can't help but think this set has huge potential.  None of the $20 sets compare to this one for decent parts.  motorcycle, big bricks etc...

 

With the quick sell out I can't imagine there being a huge overstock of these to keep prices low. 

Great little set, I wish I bought more. It should do quite well. 

now we just need the US shop@home to remain out of stock.

hehe, that didn't last fast, also note that it's almost doubled in MSRP within 24 hours!  Expect dramatic increases next several months and steady growth next few years, beyond that, who knows? 

 

But to end all speculation 6866 is no longer being produced by TLG and is completely out of stock on both the wholesale and retail level at most major retailers/distributors in the USA. 

 

 

6866 has great eye appeal sealed as well. Looks great sealed (or not) on display with your lego variant cover comics and favorite issues such as New Mutants 98!
