10019 - UCS: Rebel Blockade Runner

Inventorying the 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner. Help?

Seems like this set appeared before the time of 'unboxing' videos on Youtube. Heck it pre-dated Youtube. I picked up a new set with broken seals. Just wondering if anyone knows how to inventory this sucker? There are two white sealed boxes, the DSS, instruction manual and quite a few clear polybags of other bits. This was before numbered bags...so any help with the clear polybags would be appreciated. And I might end up doing an 'unboxing' video after that!

Indeed no stickers... I will see if I get a repro or not... I think stickers don't age very well on any set... just this one has aged a lot lol! emoji3.png

Yes, they don't age well. Below is from a set I recently purchased.

Have a similar one that came with a collection I purchased awhile back - stickers are just as bad.

worse tho the one I received was built once and displayed... for 10 years... in direct sunlight.  it's more a desert camo colour now. :-(

There was a video I saw where they put their white colored bricks in a tub filled with peroxide and let it sit in the sun for a few hours, and it turned it back to white.  Might want to try that...

maybe it was this one from Jang

Keep them out of the sun and they hold up ok. This sat on a kids shelf for 13 years until I nabbed it last week, stickers held up pretty good just a little peel at the edge.

Any input on the used value of a version of this set I have. The set has both boxes, color and black and white. All original materials, built only once, instructions, new sticker sheet, and all parts in excellent condition. I even have the original poly bags.

Wondering how rare a set with BOTH boxes is? Thanks in advance.

Gutted, I got excited by this post for a second.

In the world of Star Wars Lego reissues, I just can’t understand why this hasn’t been done.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but if anyone is looking for a "sealed bags, open box" 10019 for their collection I have one for sale. PM if interested.
