I didn't know that Amazon reset its purchase counts.  I guess that's smart on Amazon's part.  In an ideal world, there would be no limits.

 

They do. I was speaking to a customer rep on the UK site, complaining about why they were shifting around the limits on the SW Advent Calendar. She openly said the limits last a week, and then I am free to order more. I asked if this was across all the Amazon stores, and she said that she cannot vouch for that information but it is likely correct.

Seems pretty smart of Amazon to me - they avoid the "sold out in 60 seconds to the same buyer" problem while still encouraging anyone who really want to buy from them to keep right on doing it.
