I contacted support and told them about prices and even gave examples.... the support told me its the fault of the one getting them LEGO... hmmm MAYBE PICK A DIFFERENT ONE?

Yeah but the biggest WTF is Slovenia is like in the middle of Europe.... yet we get 15% increase overall over Germany set retail prices... so annoying... luckily we get Muller store in my town so atleast they have German prices + okish discounts before X-mas...

Alcarin. Most didnt support communism. They were oppressed and enslaved by it. Communism sucked. And anybody who disagreed with the socialist ideals of equality was sent to a camp. The news supported the dear leader unequivocally and freedom of speech was limited to only saying good things about socialist free healthcare, schools and apartments.

This is like saying americans deserve the same when only 50% voted for that change.

 I never lived in Communism and neither did any living or already dead human.... because in Communism countries and government does not exist ... perhaps you should actually READ Communist manifesto from Marx and Engels before sprouting nonsense about the matter....

Yep it is.... sadly thanks to the prices I can mostly use amazon.... 

 

There is only 1 good thing with those prices.... Sets are kept in stores for long period of time.... this March I bought 6 Toy Shops for 50% off (discounted cos being so long in store) down to like 50

Well, without any sort of obvious conversions or cost comparisons I didn't get a sense of the differences but I didn't feel like doing the math for myself.  High prices aren't cool.

You can tell when the Euros price (on sale) is a higher raw number than the USD price. For instance the 16Euro wizard battle - is like $23 USD for a set that costs $13 here. And thats on sale.

Yeah that does suck. It's kind of the same situation here but you can make it work and it (sort of) has its advantages since (in theory) you can also sell for more money because people will be willing to pay more although I'm not sure Switzerland can be compared to Slovenia .

 

Also don't stick to one online retailer and do your research. I don't know Slovenia at all and I don't know if you have many online shops, but what I do is use a price comparator for my country and on a daily basis, check the prices for all the sets I want. It's proven to be a solid strategy as I've made my share of great deals like today, Sungnymun for 34$ each (bought the last two) or a few months back, Technic Unimogs for 125$ a pop.
