Sir von Lego on Eurobricks has given some tiny bits of detail for the 2014 LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets. Again, there will be seven sets in the next wave, four for the Nickelodeon animated series and three for the upcoming film. Unfortunately, there are no details for the movie sets.

  • Anyone remember the 4 player arcade TNMT game from the 90's?

  • Please no more Ninja turtles close ups! Mikey's head might be one of the ugliest things I have seen in my life.

Uk has three of the sets so far...

The first series has the best turtle figs IMO.

79121 (turtle sub undersea) will do well, because the croco-bad-guy (leatherhead) looks fantastic.

I would not be surprised if 1 year after EOL this minifig will be sold 20$ on ebay.

Plus, the vehicule is cool looking, it can open, and has nice pieces (shell's scales).

60$ RRp is ok, it will be easy to get some at 40/50$.

It may take some time but I think it can do very well, mainly thanks to leatherhead.

BTW I wouldn't be surprised if lego uses this mold for Croc (batman).

If not and if it stays exclusive to this set, it could do even better than expected...

I'll definitely take some of this set. And maybe the van, too (far better looking than the previous one).

These are now available on the Lego website.  All except the 99.99 lair one...(Figures that's the only one I wanted.)

I wonder if any other themes have had sets added or removed/retired. (I couldn't go through everything.)

I see Karai Bike Escape and T-Rawket sky strike ,but none of the other sets.

My local Lego store had them on the shelf as well, but none of the movie specific ones like the Lair. The sets are a little weak IMO. Doesn't stop my son from wanting them of course.

They are all there except the new lair set.  They are next to bike escape.

I'm most looking forward to the Turtle Sub.

It's a quaint set, but you have to say when the theme is done, the shellraiser is better.

I like the old minifigs

They are all there except the new lair set.  They are next to bike escape.

It's so weird how LEGO Shop at Home acts sometimes. The sets are there now but they weren't when I checked earlier.

I do not like them at all, looks like a total flop for long term.

Wait, I also just noticed there's no Donatello in any set  :ermm:.

Well, those are thoroughly horrible.

Ill pass on these and ill be sticking with the nickelodeon series instead.

I think he's in the new Turtle Lair.

I hate to admit it but I agree with you guys. Now the set builds are....okay, but the turtle minifigures based on the movie are kind of fugly. The human characters are interesting though like April O'Neil looking more like her original self than Megan Fox in the trailer that's going around.

Same here, at least the cartoon based ones look more like the actual turtles we all know and love. Not perfectly but close as one can get anyway.

Those are honestly some of the worst minifigs I  have ever seen and a disgrace to the turtles(along with this new movie.) The other funny thing about the figs are based on the movie trailer the turtles are significantly bigger than humans so them being the same size as April makes no sense.

My son is going to be so confused when he sees these in the shelf and I just don't have the heart to tell him that somebody ruined the turtles with a horrible movie.

Here are the official images of the upcoming Turtle Lair Invasion:

Oh god the minifigs are even worse looking in Hi Res.

Yeah when you looking at closeups of the turtles they are horrible.

6 minifigs and a pretty plain looking lair for $100.

That motorcycle looks new, although it could be in a different set.

My kids will dig this set, especially that slide. Who doesn't like a slide.

Some close-ups previously not available.

What the heck is wrong with the Turtles face and the top of the Semi. :Goofy:
