I found a person who is selling a Mindstorms NXT 2.0 for $150 used. Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. I think the set is retired and the MSRP of the set is well over $250+. Should I get it. I already have one of these for myself, so this one would be for investing. Looks like all the pieces are there plus some extra ones.

The problem with investing in the mindstorm sets is that I think you will have a hard time getting the BP price........the software on the older sets is outdated so the people I know are looking to buy the new EV3. If it was for you i would say go for it but to flip I'm not so sure.

If there was no Mindstorms EV3, then I would have flipped it, but since there is, I do not see much profit for me because of all the work of making sure everything is working and if it is not, I would have to sell it as incomplete or try to buy the missing pieces.
