I think it's pretty clear from the photo it's not from 10179, so the answer to "who knows" is "everyone".

Right now eBay has a promo to list 100,000 free fixed price listings (for those invited), my guess is this winner is one of the invited and is basically throwing everything he owns or can find in the gutter up there for stupid prices just to see if he can catch any stupid fish.

 

Not my own sport of choice, but anyone dumb enough to buy some of his stuff probably deserves what they get.
