3866 - Star Wars: The Battle of Hoth Game

Featured Replies

I have been intrigued by the Lego Star Wars board game, "The Battle of Hoth". I wonder what other's opinion might be on it's appreciable value. It is not sold in the US due to licensing restrictions. Would this make the set more valuable later on? Has anyone else thought about buying this from overseas to invest in?

I wonder about this too. I bought a few just because I wanted one for myself. I ended up flipping 2 that ended up paying for my one I kept. It's a pretty cool set, but none of the other board games have done well that I'm aware of.

I bought the Harry Potter board game on clearance at Target for $23 so my wife and I could play it. It's a decent set for $23 and fun to boot. Not sure I'd ever pay retail for one though.

The LEGO boardgames are odd ones. They could go up in value because of novelty and uniqueness. These are gonna be a really wierd game of 'hit & miss'. They are fun though, and the rules are very well thought out. For the most part, the only reason I've bought some of these was for the parts (like FROG RUSH).
