Very similar to this topic. I don't think I've ever had a Dark Ages for a long period of time, as I said in the older topic, but just short breaks of a few months between sets.

Sort of the same with me. Sometimes I was so consumed with other thing, I did not have time build with Lego. I almost went away from Lego, but them I found Brickpicker which has brought me back in. So you can say that brickpicker brought me back to Lego.

Hopefully I do not go through it. I have heard that many people have sold their Lego sets from when they were a child, and then they spent three times as much money buy them back because of nostalgia.

I guess this thread is a little ageist. Hope I didn't offend anyone!
