Buying 10178, 10174 and 7662

Should I buy for $450? The boxes are open but the Legos have not been opened from plastic bag. The boxes are in pretty bad shape. This is considered a used set, right? Good deal or no?

Great deal. Go get them.

I usually sell those as new (damaged box). Does not, really make much of a difference

I just need to make sure all the pieces are there. He has the box, instructions and bagged parts. I'm excited about maybe building them, but not sure if I should just sit on them for a bit.

If you are going to open and build them, it stops being a deal if you plan on selling them soon.

I won't open them. I basically payed open price for the sets. So would these be considered new sets but in bad box condition?

Just the box. The sets are new in sealed bags and you should have not big issues selling them for a very very close price of a sealed copy.

Yeah I would jump on that - and I would definitely keep the bags sealed. You will do well.

Damaged box sets can sit for a little while, but they will eventually sell for what you want.
