I got an e-mail about a 20% off online sale at DJ for what seemed to be clothing oriented.

 

Had a look at the Lego, and for at least 10218 Pet Shop, the 20% discount was applied. I tried it on the Town Hall (10224), but no discount on that one. No idea about any of other sets, but if there are any ones you want and are harder to get, may be worth sticking them in the cart and seeing what happens.

 

 

yikes at 269.95, 20% isn't much of a discount

It's not a great saving, but sadly the RRP here in Aus is $269.99. Add in the free shipping, makes it closer to what I would assume you would get it for if shipping international.

 

[Though admittedly, I'm not an investor in Lego, and really have no idea on the shipping costs for Lego coupled with exchange rates from the various countries bought from.]

Its rare to get any discounts off the Modulars (at least in teh UK) so 20% off sounds good to me.

Thanks for the heads up. I guarantee you will not find this set cheaper than $216 in Australia, even if it goes on sale at lego store online as a clearance item.

 

The modular pet shop is only stocked by 2 stores in australia so if you want to get this set now is the time
