connect Duplo *above* Megablok Maxi

I'm a huge Lego collector but I have a few Duplo blocks as well, plus some huge Megablok Maxi size that my wife bought.

 

I can connect Lego above or below Duplo, which is great -- especially for building huge structures.

 

I can snap Megablok Maxi above my Lego or Duplo, but I'd like to snap them below.  The height/width dimensions line up, but the huge rounded pegs above Megabloks won't be accepted by Duplo above.  Does anyone know of Lego or Duplo pieces that will accept Megabloks below?

 

I had success with the Duplo Thomas Trains lid/building-piece... it accepts Megabloks.  Any similar pieces would be helpful.
