you might see that I am very new to this site and so I wanted to ask my first question.

After rebuilding the above mentioned set I just remembered that when I bought and build the (European) Lego Star Wars Wookiee Attack set back when I was a child, some parts seemed to have the wrong color.

 

The set included three 1x1 cones and two 1x2 bricks with grill. The building instruction showed those pieces in pearl light gray but actually they were light bluish gray.

And ever since then I was wondering if this is normal (just a printing error) or if I was somehow... well, scammed by Lego.

 

I couldn't find a real answer on the Internet since some sites list them as pearl light gray while others as light bluish gray.

I would check the Bricklink part list and alternate part list for you but I'm at work on my phone currently.

If Brian doesn't solve this for you before I get home, I'll see what I can find.

Here is the parts list on BrickLink. Some reason both of those parts are coming up as pearl light gray per standard. There are two listed alternates but they are not even ones you have mentioned. Very strange.

Lego makes quite a few mistakes print wise in their instruction books. I've seen a lot with the wrong color for some sets
