damn, I remember getting this in my email last night via my SD lego notification but for some reason I thought it was for black zero escape and I deleted it lol

I just ordered one, but they gave me back $2.20 in SYW Rewards points! Whee! Hopefully my order gets processed.

What are SYW reward points how do you get access to that. With some sort of Kmart card ??

I price matched at one of the Salt Lake area Targets yesterday. $10.99 and 5% off with my Redcard! It was OOS on the Kmarts website but in-store pickup showed the Kmart 40 miles away as having them so customer service overrode the price! Thank the gods I ended up going into the city with my cousin because she needed to buy an 11" Battle Shell Ninja Turtle (a good investment for the next week BTW, they've been going for 2x+ retail!) The only store in our town is Walmart, and they stopped carrying 76003 in October!

The managers at my tru are complete ******* when it comes to price match. They already know me for price matching alot. Then again sometimes I see new faces behind the counter so might be worth the shot

Mine are pretty good, but they do know me. They usually just call over the manager and he is really cool - always helps me out, so its never a big deal. I am poiled there.

 

When I go to other TRUs I am indignant because I am so used to getting my way. Lol.

I just have the basic account type and don't pay the yearly fee like the SYW MAX members do.  They send you free points a lot, typically $3, $5, or $10.  I have 3 accounts and have gotten over $65 worth of points free in the last 4 months.  I use the points to get the smaller Lego sets for free or discounts on clearance sets like this Superman one.

The kmart app was still showing it. It was out of stock but they didn't care or notice.

Got mine delivered today via UPS!  Yee haw!  

I picked up 5 of them at local stores. I don't think this set is a very good one, but for that price ill buy as many as i can get.

I got three buying thru the website with in store pickup. They would not let me buy anymore at the store at that price. They were super rude too. I guess I would be pretty unhappy working at kmart too  

Yea there customer service is definitely not the best. Its like working at wal mart. I like to do most of my shopping at target. More of a better vibe in there and not as ghetto. The company treats there employees better and it shows. I would rather pay a little bit more and get better service and feel safer in the parking lot , lol. Also target has some pretty good sales sometimes to so... but for deals like this you have to go grab them.

My five arrived tonight via harried UPS driver (gotta feel for those guys this time of year...) -- all safe, sound, well packed, and my best steal of the year.

My 5 showed up today too....at 6pm!  UPS driver was skidding out of the driveway by the time I opened the door.

So I got two of each of 76003 and 70009 at probably 60%-70% off as part of the larger bulk purchase what would be your suggestion on what to do with them. 

 

a) Keep them after EOL

Flip them outright or

c) Wait until Christmas to list them. 

 

I'm not too familiar with  Chima and Hero factory themes they look good to build myself though .

How much profit can get now by flipping them? I think your best and only option is to hold, or build yourself of course. Don't think their value will go any lower.

Well I got them at 30% MSRP.  so there is plenty of value there now.  I'm not sure if that value will increase if they are considered popular sets

Anybody still have a good outlook on this set? I can get these at 50% off but I'm resisting for some reason...
