Was at the local flea market and a guy had about half a dozen "galidor" action figures. They had a big lego logo on them and snapped together. I didn't think to look for a date on them but $5 each. Anyone heard of these and are they worth anything? I'm thinking these are the precursor to hero factory

This is a quote from Brickipedia about the set

"Galidor is a theme introduced in 2002. It was based on Galidor, a CG-intensive, science-fiction television series broadcast on Fox Kids. Production of the show was partially funded by LEGO, which produced a line of sets to go along with it, all based on a simplified action-figure structure vaguely similar to BIONICLE, which had been introduced the previous year."

"Despite being one of the poorest-preforming lines ever produced by LEGO, this concept would later be adapted for reuse with the Ben 10 license, which also preformed poorly."

Going on the information that it was one of the poorest-preforming lines and that in my opinion it isn't a show that was that popular, I don't think these would offer good returns.

Galidor is a very little-known theme, and the overwhelming majority of the people who do know what it is, hate it. I would stay away, there is literally no market for this theme.

We might have a better idea of how to give you advice if you give us some information on the set. What minifigures? What condition were they in?

Like said previously, Galidor is a flop as an investment, but unlike many other flop themes, the theme was very small, so it didn't get much attention when it first came out, and doesn't get much attention today. Unfortunately, you might not be able to make any money on the figures. :(

There was no set or mini figures they were just 6 inch or so action figures and the arms and legs snap on. I think if they were really cool looking I'd buy them but it looked like a generic lost in space.
