Opinions wanted...should I pop for this near complete (no minifigs, no box, but has instructions) CL listing for the Batcave?

I would get it. If you want to complete the set by getting all the minifigures, you would at least spend $25 for that. A complete used set is going for over $300 used.

That lot is missing between $150-175 worth of minifigs...Alfred the Butler is $50 alone.  Those are unshipped prices too, so add another $10-15 shipping if you have to source them from different sellers.  You're not looking at a lot of profit after that, especially if you need to buy a sticker chart ($25) and/or a good chunk of pieces. 

 

The value in that set is in the minifigs and they aren't in that listing...I personally would stay away.

no;. this great set is dropping in price each month.  you can get the set complete with figs now for $205 ish.  ...and the price keeps falling.

 

quacs is correct.  you're essentially buying a box of Lego elements for $75.
