Hi. I was curious as to what the October 2013 offers might be. I am assuming its 10% in VIP rewards. So debating 10% (if happening) vs the September offers .

If you are considering buying some big Lego Store exclusives like Tower of Orthanc or Haunted House, October is the month to do it.  If you combine with a cashback website like I do in the UK, that's equivalent to 15% off.  Not bad!

Gotta make sure no one misses it before they make a giant purchase now for a Mini VW Camper Van.  Buy something smaller this month and go crazy next month!

 

I don't know about cashback sites in Canada, but I would not be surprised if there is one.

I was just about to say that part has been around since 1991. I remember it mostly being in sets with racecars, cargo, or something travel related.

Yes maybe. Trying to trade my extra 41999 for an new EV3. That would take care of that set. Double VIP is the best time to get the big stuff. (2) 42009 would get me 880 points (almost $45) alone. Add that to the points that I already have. Free set or three. 

It's gonna be such an awesome month! Gonna have to exhibit some restraint to avoid buying a sail barge for myself.

Is there a limit (a real-buyer non-reseller limit) to how many double VIP points I can stack up? Mr. Frog and I have a number of 1-set expensive purchases we'd like to save for October and were wondering.

For reference, the first set requires a purchase of $99 or more during that period. A small sum for many of you, but an amount I don't want to have to pay.

I'm probably buying some exclusives in October since it's double VIP points as well. Looks like a cute set!

The 'Brick Friday' set will probably be available only to US-CA LEGO Shop at Home.
