What do you all think about this lot? I estimated value at around 300 or so. This is to build, not necessarily to flip although I could do that.

Which was really what I bought it for. Funny enough, I have only 2 of the Star Wars sets he has there. With it pretty much being all stuff I wanted to keep, figured it was worth it.

 

The temple is worth $110 by itself of the $166 I paid.

Can't speak for FCB, but like me, he prob passed on it :)

I would have passed on it if I had seen it, I have a huge backlog of sets that I need to build and list before I get more. College is keeping me busy and I made the decision to not even look at eBay listings until I get rid of several sets I already have lol.

So true. Personally, I need to start finding space by selling items before bringing in more items. I gotta start advertising like "Crazy Eddie" !

As you originally suspected, the value is close to 300 dollars. I would guess that you can sell for very close to the values as apparently few pieces are missing and all figures/manuals are present (that said, sometimes what is advertised  as a few is a lot). Again, if we are to take the seller's word then the couple extra sets should cover any losses due to pieces missing. A healthy double what you paid should be expected.

 

The Verdict: FCB is jealous! FCB is jealous! FCB is jealous! Just kidding, nice score there! Expect some good profits.

Pretty nice score dude. I'm with you, i'd have bought it for the Temple Escape. That's a set I almost bought during my dark ages, and I regret not getting it. Supercool.
