That's a good deal on a large set like the Town Hall. TRU's price is same as LEGO on that item so it works out well.

Okay deal, bought 2 fire brigades since they're probably almost EOL. Was $127.19/ea after tax.

The one issue you might encounter is a lot of the TRU stores do not carry the larger sets. They say they do, but I have never seen a modular in a TRU, Target or Walmart. Maybe some of the large TRUs have them, but the average run of the mill TRUs do not.

Just grabbed 2 fb's and 2 tower bridges, now lets just hope they don't get destroyed during shipping

I'd get a Grand Emporium and a Fire Station but... I'm not in the US and the shipping to Spain would kill every little saving I'd make. Sad, really sad :(

In my opinion your best bet is Tower Bridge. I don't think nearly as many people are stock piling those as they are the Modulars. MMV could also be a good one but it has been out for so long it's going to take longer to rise in profit after EOl.

Yes...Good choice. Any large LEGO set in which you can maximize savings. The $240 Tower Bridge is a good example of this. If the large Tower Bridge follows the Taj Mahal and Eifel Tower as investment juggernauts, it will be a very wise decision.

It appears to be over. I made two purchases on Monday with this promotion and I just attempted to make another with no success.

Yup, I put the items in my cart yesterday and forgot to check out. Went to do it today and no go :(
