I think this has been asked before but I couldn't find it, so apologies.  What's the best way to pack up a set of Mixels to send to FBA?  Should I put all nine of the Mixels in a box or large envelope and just put the label on it?  Does it need to be a clear bag so the contents are visible?  Thanks in advance.

I used a 1-gallon ziplock and stickered the outside of the ziplock.  I had no issues.

Does anyone have any clue about why this LEGO Brainiac Attack listing is so terrible?  The picture keeps on getting changed to a Ninjago set, and the shipping weight and dimensions keep on getting changed too.  This problem has been happening since at least September of 2015, judging by the Customer Questions & Answers section.

amazon is out to screw few sellers. looks like they are targeting few sellers and change description; images so that their metrics take a hit and boom suspension ...

^ this is all hearsay .

I was going to try to sell on Amazon via FBA but it is showing a Fee for a single C-3po polybag of $13.71 includes a $8.71 FBA fee and $3.75 referral fee. What is this for? and what am I doing wrong?

Also the shipment that I sent in is showing received and checked in but not available for fullfillment. any ideas?

Which C-3po?  I have the red arm version and it's showing Fees around $4.65.

What do you have the set priced at?  If you set a high price, that is going to affect the fee.

On the fulfillment issue, the units are probably being transhipped to fulfillment centers and will be available in the next few days to sell.

The referral fee is the 15% of your sales price (which makes that $25). The FBA fee includes postage so most likely your item has the wrong weight or dimensions, causing the system to think it will be more expensive to ship.

Yes the red arm one

Hello from Fulfillment by Amazon.

You may have slow-moving or low-selling inventory. Starting today, August 4, 2016, FBA is waiving fees for any removal order for inventory that is currently in U.S. fulfillment centers. This promotion ends after August 14, 2016, after which time normal removal-order fees will apply.

FBA remains dedicated to supporting your growth and ensuring that our U.S. fulfillment centers have the right quantity of products. This promotion is designed to free up space for products that are selling fast. Learn more about free removals (sign-in required).

In addition, for a limited time, certain sellable products in your inventory may qualify for liquidation brokered by an Amazon subsidiary. Select the Liquidate (beta) option when you create a removal order in Seller Central to see if your sellable inventory is eligible. Through this liquidation pilot program, you could recover a portion of your inventory cost. As part of this limited-time promotion, these orders for liquidation will not be charged removal-order fees. Learn more about liquidating your inventory (sign-in required).

How will free removals work?

You can create a removal order from the Manage Inventory page in Seller Central. Learn more about removing inventory (sign-in required).

This promotion includes inventory that is removed as part of Automated Long-Term Storage Removals. You can enable this in your Fulfillment by Amazon settings in Seller Central on or before August 14, 2016.

If you file a removal order for sellable inventory on or before August 14, 2016, including automated removals, you will be unable to send in additional units of these ASINs until January 1, 2017. You may regain the ability to send limited quantities this ASIN to Amazon if your inventory levels are less than your total projected sales for the next four weeks. These projected sales are based your actual sales from the past 90 days.

In addition, if you remove only unsellable units of an ASIN via automated removals or via a manually filed removal order, you may still send sellable units of this ASIN to Amazon.

If you filed a removal order on or after July 13, 2016, for inventory that would otherwise be assessed a Long-Term Storage Fee on August 15, 2016, you will be reimbursed for those return fees or disposal fees.

How can I check my inventory levels?
View the notifications section in your Inventory Dashboard in Seller Central (sign-in required) to see the slow-moving inventory we would recommend for removal. These notifications are updated daily.

In addition, you can identify your aged inventory and sales data on the Inventory Age page in Seller Central (sign-in required). The Manage Excess Inventory page (sign-in required) also can help you identify inventory with greater-than-desired days of supply.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.

Sincerely,

The Fulfillment by Amazon team

Has anyone shipped REALLY large orders to Amazon before? I'll be moving soon and want to offload a ton of inventory rather than pack it up and unpack it. I'd rather not have to blow it out RIGHT away locally and lose out on the future increases, but that's of course an option too.

I'm talking like 20-40k of very large exclusive sets, all the way down to a bunch of SW Microfighters.

Anyone with this experience? Can i just drive a moving truck to the Amazon warehouse?

Is there an ideal shipping method for larger orders to FBA?

Not sure what freight options you might have, but I know there are size limitations for FBA packages going to Amazon warehouses via UPS Ground.  I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to hand deliver anything to an Amazon warehouse though.

If there's a "better" method, I don't know what it is. As a medium sized seller, I just create several large shipments and have them picked up by UPS, pretty standard. If it's a large shipment (15+ boxes) i try to give them a head's up, otherwise they may show up with a truck that doesn't have room.

If you're going to do it in one bulk shot and are talking like 50, 60 boxes - I would coordinate with UPS ahead of time to make sure there's no confusion as to what you need.

In addition, I would encourage making several shipments incase you need to have stuff reconciled. Doing that to one titanic shipment might be a major pita.

U actually can drive to Amazon warehouse but there are very strict requirements that's makes it close to impossible .

I learn something new every day and BA is the FBA expert around here.

Search LTL or FTL in their help section and read/watch videos.  I've never done it but you probably want to ship pallets of boxed items.  I'm guessing it will be cheaper.

I've had several FBA items disappear recently... anyone else with similar issues? Waiting until I can start the investigation.

Click on the merchant SKU on the left on your Manage FBA Inventory screen and click the events tab. That will tell you what happened to it (at least broadly) and reconcile if it doesn't fix itself. I've had it happen in spurts over the last few months but Amazon always makes it right in the end.

Thanks for the tip--the "events" screen is pretty handy.

Has anyone done this? I may be interested in doing something similar in the near future as i am looking to move.

In other news, Amazon has changed their approval process for gated products. Apparently they're now doing it on an item-by-item basis. Yesterday I submitted for approval on six different items, all with proper documentation and above the minimum required purchase quantities. I got one yes and five not-yets; between the five not-yets I got three different sets of instructions on how to complete the approval process.

I need a drink.
