i'm looking for some opinions on the Harry Potter theme. I hear it is being discontinued. Is it a good time to buy or should I buy something else, like Star Wars?

    I think the Harry Potter sets will be a good investment. Maybe not like the Star Wars line, but better than most. I have a Diagon Alley put away, with a couple of smaller sets.

    Star Wars is King of the Lego Universe. George Lucas is great at renewing the genre every couple of years. Look, now we have 3D releases hitting the theaters in the US this week. Should stir up a lot more interest in all the old Republic sets. Harry Potter is a neat theme, but besides the few larger sets, I can't see as much appreciation as a comparable Star Wars set. CLONE TROOPERS ANYONE???? :-)
