#391 here. These look beautiful. I hope they get green lighted. I loved this movie as a kid, and my kids love it today! There are so many set possibilities for this theme. A bad guy hideout, a jail with a high speed chase, and of course a pirate ship! All would offer tons of playability for the kids, while the grown ups can display their favorite scenes from the movie.

Looks pretty cool...who wouldn't want me minifigs.  Fans would pay for this just like BTTF.  The fan base would be similar probably...or maybe more for BTTF since it had more movies.  Wished someone would do a Karate Kid project too...maybe the All Valley High tournament :)

New lego series idea, 80's movies! Ghostbusters, goonies, a Christmas story, etc. what's you favorite 80's movie idea for lego?

So The Goonies Pirate Ship got the 10,000 votes.  I don't have that much nostalgia for the movie since I saw it later in life, but this is the one line I remember when somebody mentions the movie.

I tried to add a picture, but I guess I don't have permission.

Why no sails?

Ideas projects aren't allowed to require making new parts, only using existing parts. The designer would have had to recycles sales from some other current production set.

Who knows what it will look like if it goes into production?
