February 2016 Polybag Availability Update

Sorry if there's a post like this already. I searched but polybag comes up in so many threads its hard to see! I was thinking of getting polybags to sell. I'm not really looking for huge profit, mostly it seemed like a good idea for building up my eBay feedback. So I don't need to be super profitable but of course I don't want to lose money with shipping, etc. How do you know what bags will do well (obviously like anything theres no sure thing but any idea what does decent vs what js pretty much always a flop). They are hard to search for since they are random. How long do they usually last? Is there any general tips you could give?

I saw this at Barnes and Noble today.  I had some in my hand and then put them down, should have gotten 2 I feel.  Looks like they are available online when you search for them too.

30275 Star Wars TIE Advanced Prototype - I see this pretty frequently at larger Targets but they're probably starting to thin out.

30521 mini bat mobile was at Walmart this week in a new display with the uwing.

On the topic of Meijer: 30352, 30400, 30401, 30425 and 30496 are also all available at Meijer (at least in my neck of the woods).

Grabbed 24 Captain America Motorcycles at Kmart today. I should probably pay attention to the friends ones since they always have a bunch, but I dint know what they are.

I picked up some 30338 Fire Car Set.  Can someone let me know why there are only a handful on Bricklink?  I feel like I should go back and purchase the rest of the bags available.  Is it really that rare to find?

I found a half dozen at a B&N recently too, bought them all for personal use. Only one has been purchased in the US on BL and it has a rank of almost 100k on Amazon, so I'm not in any rush to find any to resell. It is a pretty rare one though, I've never seen it before yesterday.

slow seller on amazon.  i've had the buybox for a couple of days and not 1 sold.  other poly's like TBM - sold 50 in 3 days.  star wars poly and batman movie poly's much quicker selling at the moment.  who  knows what the future holds.

i saw them at virtually every bn i raided 2 weeks ago during the 50% off sweeps.  nobody buys juniors didn't you get the memo?  jk.   i snagged a few also since juniors is a top performing theme for me.

I found 30523 Joker battle training in Walmart.

 

I found two Duplo poly bags in TRU. "My first Duplo set" and the animal not-quite-blind bag. Think this may be old news, or no one cares.

 

TRU Canada has R3M2 instore promo gwp with $40 SW purchase.

 

I hope we get that. I will clear them out.

how did you come across this. If I try all lego and recent it is not there. Toysrus is a mystery on how they list stuff
