Also saw this one this morning. Can't go wrong with a Dragon rider poly. IMO.

this one was really rare for awhile, just EU and some Legoland sightings.  Now with Target having them will probably drop some but still a good one

Also 30421 Ninjago Skybound Plane and 30373 Nexo Knights Hyper Cannon polys have hit at some LL locations.

All good things, like that dragon poly and stormtrooper sergeant, must come to an end   Those were some easy  (well before certain member undercut everybody to the bare minimum price  )

Not US only. Canada had it about a month before we did.

Chima has some transparent limbs, and there's even a star wars fig with a transparent arm.

There are Chima figures with 1 solid and 1 transparent leg / arm

Thanks for all the info guys! I don't collect Ninjago or Chima, but it's cool to know that Lego is making transparent limbs.

I'm behind on the update but will do that this week.

I haven't seen them since the Birmingham Brick Show (they had hundreds), so they must be hiding them somewhere!

So what are thoughts on 5002938 Stormtrooper Sergeant?  Is there anything special about this one... I mean... OK... little epaulet / "shoulder cape" ... whatever you call it... and slightly different printing than other versions on a stormtrooper... but anything special enough to make it highly desired? I dunno.

I found some the day prior to release at my Toys R Us, and was shot down when I attempted to buy.  A day later I went back and got one.  Made another purchase today and they were all out. Anyone else having trouble finding these in quantity?

I honestly am unimpressed that there's a little "shoulder strap" and that's the only difference.

Which means that plenty of people will care about it, so we should probably stock up.

Well, it has no TRU label, so it's not an exclusive. My guess is these will eventually be everywhere... maybe a short term opportunity, tho. Depending on how many they make in the future, I'm now wondering if these could put a damper on the overall stormtrooper market. At 3.99 retail (or less) I'd think those trooper "battalion builders" are happy to see these?

My store limited them to 2 per person and there was 3 left so I bought 2 myself and had my mom buy 1. All of them are for me and I was originally hoping to get 4-5 for army building but I'm happy with the 3 and to answer your question the shoulder cap is called a "pauldron"  and honestly that's the only unique thing about it. The helmet may have extra printing but I haven't compared it to the older rebels stormtroopers yet so I'm not certain.

I saw a large bin of new C-3POs 5002948 at my Toys R Us... figured I'd go there this morning for the TRUST discount and pick up 100 or so. I was hoping I could flip them as a single lot for $575 - $600, make a quick $110 profit, and gain $30 in Rewards.  So I got there bright and early, counted them out one-by-one in my basket... and then I saw the price... $5.99 !? Weren't they $3.99 before? Rats.
