I know i read this somewhere but i cant seem to find it again. what was the math on how you price Lego pieces in a set?

    Just remember that there is a big difference - don't just go off of this. Some sets have giant and exclusive pieces, so they cost more. Minifigures make a big difference too.

    Indeed. I have a good example. The UCS Special Edition Naboo Fighter only has 187 pieces, but there are certain pieces that are chrome plated or something like that. that is why the set had a retail value of $39.99 USD when it came out, and why the production run was so short for this set. So, giant and exclusive pieces cost more.
