August 6, 201312 yr I know one Walmart has tons of this for $9. I didn't grab on my last visit. I think I will have to go back tonight before it's too late.
August 6, 201312 yr His username is "thepricetrimmer". Priceless. Wasn't that guy the intern at Toys R Us last year?
August 16, 201312 yr Author No joke. There really are great bargains out there if you look hard enough and be quick. Snooze you lose.
August 16, 201312 yr Supposing he made a mistake, the question is: but what's the correct price? 2,46 6,76 24.676
August 16, 201312 yr Author Be careful before you hit the buy button. Free shipping is UK only. To the rest of the world it is probably around
August 16, 201312 yr Author I like how you called it a "little nugget". Mr Hankey anyone? Hidey Ho boys. Merry Christmas Gandalf has arrived.
August 16, 201312 yr Author you'd be surprised. I dare you to message him and ask is this the real price and is that the best he could do. Coming from America you could tell him you are the Toy Hunter or Toy Inspector. He'll never know.
August 16, 201312 yr I couldn't resist sending him a note just now saying "How much for the whole lot as I've just won the lottery and money is no object. I need 150 of these by next weekend for my celebration LOTR themed party to hand out as free gifts. I can't buy them anywhere and I'm desperate."
August 16, 201312 yr Author If you are lucky enough to swoop the lot, I hope you are going to see fit to give me a finders fee; say around 20% for each set. You have won the Lottery after all.
August 16, 201312 yr Author when he sells them (and i'm sure he will) I'm sure many here will see their Brick Folio rocket in gains. I'm going to cash in on my set around Christmas when there will be even greater demand and buy 5 Tower Bridges and a couple of VW camper vans and maybe a few Haunted Houses and definitely a SSD or two. Any change left over I'll think about an Ewok Village.
August 16, 201312 yr Supposing he made a mistake, the question is: but what's the correct price? 2,46 6,76 24.676 Probably not a typo but some other kind of mistake. If yo look at the sellers other listings, you'll see dozens of items for the price of
August 16, 201312 yr Some sellers use the "buyers are idiots" strategy - this may be one. But some sellers intentionally raise the price of an out-of-stock item (that they think they might get more of to restock, at which point they lower the price again) into the stratosphere to "hold" their place in best match search (when you sell multi quantities, each sale helps bump you up in best match for that listing. If you sell out and have to create a new listing, you have to start all over with a fresh best match algorithm). By raising the price to "ridiculous" on an item, there's little risk of a buyer purchasing something they don't have in stock, and if a buyer by some fluke does, they have enough cash to quickly find it elsewhere and fulfill the order.
August 16, 201312 yr Author Wow Just simply wow. He must have a number fetish. 246.76 seems to be the magic number for him. Anything goes as long as it's
