I think that there are two pieces under the foot. Here are the pieces:

  • Parabolic Element
  • Solution

My mistake, i dont mean the clear plastic pieces. I mean the Dark blueish gray piece that has 3 prongs, it looks amazingly like a elephants foot but its not part of the elephant figure, for example the elephant on the right is the original version minus the large feet.

 

I searched bionicle, large figure pieces as well as animal parts on brick link with no luck.

Sorry about that. I misunderstood the question.

In Dark Bluish Grey it sells for an average of 29 cents on Bricklink so it is quite reasonable. Happy hunting, spart!

 

EDIT: In the MOC they also used a row or two of black plates with attachments for the horns to give it even more height.
