Have an american friend over the border, and ship to their house, and when they come to you, offer them the same pleasure.

Sucks for people spending a fortune for that clone!

This clone trooper is definitely how Lego should run all their promotions and exclusives.  Advance release and then available to the public as an incentive to a purchase.  Perfect.

I just shipped it to Washington. So disappointing :(

Guess I have to drive the 2 hours to the Lego store across the border! Probably not worth it, since it would look extremely suspicious at the border crossing if my car was full of Lego haha.

Well I've decided I'll suck it up and pay the Canadian price for just the Rancor Pit. It's $74.99 so hopefully the cashier doesn't make a big fuss about it being short 1 cent? Works out to be $83.99 after tax, and if I sell the VW mini and the clone trooper, I guess it's still a bit of a discount........

I only got one camper van promo from LEGO Shop at Home despite placing two separate orders.

They do have a disclaimer some where saying that there is a limit of one per household.

I called LEGO Shop at Home Spain yesterday and they told me that from August onwards it's only one promo item per customer.

made 5 seperate different orders and all shipping confirmation emails included the mini van ... hope it is true!

anyone else do multiple different orders and get only one van despite shipping emails confirming a van for each order?

Great, now the fulfillment crew at the warehouse are each making up their own rules just like the stores.

I just added something yo the LEGO Shop at Home cart with location as US, and there is no VW camper added. Not sure if discussed elsewhere (sorry if yes), but I wonder if that indicates supply has been exhausted...?

Yes it is not adding it to my cart either. Looks like this has ran out of stock online do not know if individual stores are still giving them out. Bummer but most ppl probably have quite a few by now. :)

Yup I had a pretty good stash, like 12. I may make a trip down to my lego store before the end of the month if I can and see if I can get one or two more.

Some members have mentioned holding the volkswagon promos to sell in the future with the larger set. I think this is a very good idea. Has anyone had success with this in the past? Has anyone thought about trying this with the sopwith camel promo that was given out a year or two ago and pairing it with the larger Sopwith set? The volkswagon promo does seem to be one of the better non minifig promos and should hold its value due to its broad appeal and good design/great packaging.

Not sure if pairing this polybag up with 10220 will give you that  much more then just selling the individual sets, it's a cute bundle no doubt but I think this mini camper will do really well in the next 12 months anyway.

It's the best poly I've come across so far, it screams to be opened and built so new/sealed sets will only get rarer and (depending on how long TLG continue with the VW license) there's a good chance it won't get re-released.

I think both campers will double within 6 months of E.O.L, but with the mini the E.O.L will be in 5 days time if not already. :money:

I was at a Lego store on Sunday and I got the promo with my purchase.

I was just messing around with the Australian LEGO Shop at Home cart, and the VW appeared on a qualifying order. So I ordered (new WV set with the halloween pumpkin). Will be interesting to see if the promo arrives

I received one from the store today, but I did notice that hey got it from a small box rather than a large like earlier in the month. At a guess store have an allocation and when it's gone, it's gone. Something In The small print will take 'while stocks last'.
