I wouldn't count it out, especially since the teepee and stagecoach are doing fairly well.

The movie was a lot better than I thought it would be. I think the problem was they made a movie for adults and marketed it for children.

i'm going to hold onto the set for another 6-12 months.  the ol' "kick the tires" one last time bit.

 

it's a good looking set.  hopefully, there will be demand then.   train AFOLs should still like the set since it's easily powered by 9V or Power Functions.

This set was still on sale last month for around usd 50 in japan.. I bought around 60 boxes.. and flip them right away ...

It's a great set. But it is not moving pricewise. Not even an inch. That is what makes me worry. Cause not moving is loosing.

 

Maybe parting out is an option?

Train sets are not as popular as in the US, probably due to spaces..

Modular houses, Xmas themes, Super heroes are hot selling ..

I'm not sure we're looking at the same set, looks to be fetching a little over retail.  Stagecoach is better though.

I'm not sure there is much desire for a western theme, but this may be all we get for a while.  I wish they would do a Legorado remake.

I think you might be right but I cashed most of mine out at a 60% profit because those funds are better used in other Lego endeavors (although another 40% profit from 2014-2015 is excellent)
