If you could only have one Star Wars set, forever, non-UCS - What would it be?

I've always wanted the sandcrawler, but I'm going to have to go with the original sail barge

The sail barge is nice - I think the new one looks better, just overpriced.

Sandcrawler is a good choice. Mab that thing is impressive looking.

Maybe the 10198 Tantive IV as well.  Though I do like my 4483 AT-AT, or maybe the motorised one but I haven't seen that one in the flesh.

the problem with the new sail barge is that it doesn't have the sarlacc pit and skiff, so it wouldn't be as interesting to display forever. i've got the old one on display now (that's where my avatar pic is from. i have boba flying using tissue paper and poster board underneath) and it makes for a very dynamic scene

If it were to build it would be the 10178 Motorized Walking AT-AT because I'm just that kind of person that likes things that move  :cheese:

If it were to invest it would be the 4483 AT-AT. I just love AT-ATs for some reason. They make me go crazy

The 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer is kind of "boring" since it's all gray (as so many of the SW sets are), but it actually is very impressive set up on display because of its size.  I assume that's why a couple have mentioned the Tantive already?

I've always wanted the Sandcrawer though - I missed it during my dark ages and now I can't find a decently priced used one...I would bet it would be my top choice but I'd have to see it first!

Wow, thats a great point about it - I should know as I just wrote an article about it yesterday and how not having the skiff in it was a problem. LOL.

Good point.

I had wanted it also for a long time and let me tell you looks better than I expected. It is quite big for a non UCS set and the minifigs are really cool, especially the Jawas.

Just need to get the 9496 to get the skiff. So not only is the new Sail Barge expensive, but you gotta get another ~20$ set to get Boba, the skiff and the sarlacc.

Lol - Slave 1 is a really nice set.

I just want to find an already open 8097, couldn't care less about the manual or box... I just can't keep fighting the temptation to open up one of my new boxes for much longer haha.
