Let's get proactive about LEGO scams on eBay.

About a week ago I ordered 4 tower bridges off of eBay from a top rated seller for 220 each. The seller is a top rated seller with over 200 Feedback The day after the seller notified me that he was out of stock on tower bridges. However he willl make things right Last night I went to the mall to pick up some cafe friends sets at my local Lego store When I returned home. There sat 15 Lego sets. FedEx droppe off 5 ssd 5 Death Star and 5 tower bridge. All shipped from Walmart with stolen credit cards. 2 town hall were not even packed. They slapped at tracking label right on the Lego box Now the question is. What do I do. Who do I contact. How do I cover my ass.

I'm with you guys. The returning and buying from scammers makes me embarrassed to even be associated with this stuff. Believe it or not, these actions get noticed by TLG. Supporting these kinds of a

The reason he told you is b/c drop shipping is not illegal and almost every company has someone who does drop shipping for them.  Basically it works like this...XYZ company says...Hell yeah I'll

Great job catching the scammer. People are becoming more greedy these days.

Great Job! - i just sold one about 10 minutes ago and was checking to see if it was the same seller. Fortunately not, but i have a few others and hopefully he wont buy any of mine!

I only sold one - and it wasn't him, but I am putting him on my ignored buyers list for the time being.

Nice job by the way - the only way to combat scammers is to follow up when it happens and to be aware. I hate it when people let things go even if they are covered somehow for it.

Good job. Looks like he's bought 16 of them already. I made sure to block his id just in case he were to buy from me in the future, I won't have to deal with him.

THANK YOU !!! +1 to my Blocked Bidder List :D

So much for 512 feedbacks.  Here is one to the people who are sweating over selling to 0 feedback buyers.

Ha, sold 2 to himher. Delivered a while back and no claim so far, hopefully it will stay that way

Call eBay on this guy, and have all the other sellers call, too. He will get his buying privileges suspended for this sort of shenanigans, and he should.

Whats ebay's policy if you guys refused to give him a discount and you told him to return it ar his expense?

Provided you don't have a different return policy set up (i,e that you'll pay return shipping in all cases), they'll back you on it.

This guy doesn't want to return anything, he just wants free money to fall from the sky. If every seller involved reports him, it will go very badly for him. I know there's a myth that eBay doesn't protect sellers, but if you take care of your end and have a good record with them, they absolutely do.

Not sure, but I guarantee you would get a destroyed Crawler back regardless of the condition he received it in so he could prove his point.

How do you look up his buying history?  Sounds familiar--I think I sold one to someone by that name.  Was it something Chang?

I have found this guy's profile, but can't seem to find how/where to block him from buying from me. can someone please point me in the right direction? looking at the feedback he has left for others, it appears he is quick to pull the trigger on leaving negative feedback for petty issues that the sellers seem to be blindsided with. I would prefer not to deal with this clown at all in the future if possible.

Here ya go. Good to do whenever you hear of a lowly excuse for a human such as this guy...

People like this ruin ebay and should be banned. I checked out his feedback history, and on the "feedback left for others" he left negative feedback on 5 of the last 6 sellers he bought from. Garbage. Nice job Metsrock, I hope this guy gets whats coming to him.

Wow, good job  .  Hopefully he gets booted from ebay.

thank you very much polar beast and darth raichu. plus ones for you both, as well as the OP. he is the first blocked buyer on my list. it's too bad there are idiots like this out there who ruin things for others, just for the sake of a few dollars. good luck to those who have sold to this a**hole. keep us posted.

Did he already change his ID? I can't pull him up...

Ah okay - my iPhone was capitalizing the first letter or something. Got him now. Big mistake for him...

Thanks so much for the heads up!  He didn't buy mine but I'm blocking him just in case.

Yes true, they protect sellers - you just have to be a bit more persistent than if you are a buyer.

They also protect you as a seller more if you also buy a lot with the same account.
