WOW! Remember that $1500 Azog minifigure? Well some lady bought the fig for her fiance as his engagement ring. Interestingly, the minifigure was more expensive than her ring... :/

Ummm...yeah. Not sure what to think of that, but I guess whatever's good for the goose...

NYCC is brutal! Tons of people wall to wall. The panels were cool, but you couldn't get near the theater for Evil Dead 2, Firefly and the browncoats or The Walking Dead panel. Lots of costumes last year. Cosplayers outnumbered plain clothes geeks. It was so crowded, made me think twice about going again.

 

Last year Lego gave away a small tin with young Luke and Landspeeder to first 200 that hit the booth. I got there at 1030am and they were all gone. Folks slept outside Javitz overnight to score them.
