clone walker going more than 200% than retail

Featured Replies

Too bad that is still only low profits :P

I missed that one but I somehow do not regret it...

It looks neat though and defo one of the better battle packs... only maybe rivaled by Snowtrooper battle pack in my eyes.

yea your right about how it looks because I loved both of those set and I wish I got more of them when they were out

It's neat.  The nice thing is that there will always be more clones so it doesn't have to be a must have to build an army.  What surprises me is that stormtroopers aren't featured in more sets for as common as they should be.

can't tell if you are joking or not, but if you are looking at money gains rather than percentage gains, you might be in the wrong business.

You seriously expected this one to be even higher?

It was released in 2009, probably retired in 2011, 2 years after EOL and it's sitting now at 200% of it's value. Not all retired sets out there can match that percentage.

It might not be the biggest amount in return, but if someone put down 10

200% is a phenomenal ROI! I was referring to alcarins statement that the amount of the money return was small.

Yeah - you just can't only buy one. You have to buy $500 worth of them. Then 200% looks way better! lol

lol

The best part about this set was that it was heavily clearanced by LEGO Shop at Home and Amazon for around $5-6 when it went EOL at the end of 2011.  I wish I had bought more, but I made a bundle on those that I did buy.

Exactly. This is why I buy battle packs as well as big sets.

Captain America anyone?

I agree with Alcarin a little...catching a 10 or 20 dollar profit is going to be eaten up by fees and shipping.

yeah but its all proportional...... I mean how much is shipping and fees gonna be on 30 or 40 dollar sale??

eBay Spain charges 8% as their commission. S&**** is up to the seller to set. So, selling a 10
