July 14, 201312 yr Came across this small build earlier on CUUSOO. Sure, it is yet another X-wing (groan) but with a little twist. SD X-wing Starfighter by wolf.lews
July 14, 201312 yr I don't really like it. Too stubby or something, and as the creator said, "Super-Deformed". Also not accurate enough for my taste.
July 14, 201312 yr From a kid's perspective I like it. Reminds me of the Super Hero Squad a bit just the stubbiness of it. From a geek's perspective, no it is totally wrong (just like SHS )
July 15, 201312 yr I think children would like it, but I personally don't. The enigines are over- sized compared to the rest of the model.
July 15, 201312 yr I don't even think kids would like it to be honest. It seems kinda style after Little Tykes/current Tonka toys. From what I know of these "bloated" toys they are not popular with parents and kids over the ages of 5. I need to go digging for a source, but I've read something about this trend of bubbled toys within the past few months.
July 15, 201312 yr I can see the appeals to japanese or anime fans. Honestly though it could be a little more deformed.
July 15, 201312 yr I can see the appeals to japanese or anime fans. Honestly though it could be a little more deformed. Really? Cause i think it looks pretty deformed.
July 15, 201312 yr Really? Cause i think it looks pretty deformed. I used to do some Gundam plastic modeling so perhaps I am just used to the Gundam Super Deformed models. Here is an example. Notice the proportion of the head compared to the torso. Compare it to the head vs torso ratio on 1/100 scale model: Now that is SUPER deformed
August 30, 201312 yr Ive tried to find the plans for the stubby xwing in that site, but cant. Is there a hidden instruction link?
August 30, 201312 yr Gundam Wings would be a lot cooler if they didn't wear short skirts. Sure, unlike the Roman Legionnaires or the Scots in Braveheart
August 30, 201312 yr I can imagine this to be the new sets replacing the Planet series. Yep, this pretty much sums up the recruitment sub-line. Except those are even more deformed
