With everyone posting their collections earlier this week, I decided to post how mine currently looks.  I am likely building the Porsche with within a few weeks so will have to move things around.

  • So heres my collection so far. May take a few posts due to image size.

Kandypop that is insane. Amazing collection. How long do you think you spent building all of those and which one is your favorite build/display.

Well, I cannot really figure that out but I started collecting Lego half an year ago. 10179 is absolutely masterpiece in my collection. Here come my Boxes. BTW, I modified my 42009 with full remote control(strongly increased playability) Thanks to  Jurgens and his instruction.

My overall collection can be seen from my MOC pages link below.  However, I have yet to post a whole pic of my inventory and their setting.  This is a good idea. I need to do so.

Here is my MOCpages link.... and btw, sadly, about three weeks ago I lost one of my MOCs.... so the family is short one member :(

I am just getting my son's collection started on a shelf next to his crib. As he gets older I hope to build an entire city with him. :)

kandypop,

i just noticed your older post.  hope this isn't an issue anymore.

nice sets but for the love of all AFOLs, investors, gods, and everything sacred, PLEASE fix your box stacking and REMOVE that boxed sealed or opened ucs sd out from the bottom.  put the sidney opera down there of needed.

when stacking boxes, do it like this  lets say you have 4 levels of 5 sets in each level. each set needs to be tight up against the set it's touching.

top level, 2nd level, 3rd level, and bottom level ((when looking top down toward the floor)  =

if you have sets piled on top of each other in the same direction, you won't get enough support.  the boxes will begin sagging near the bottoms due to the weight on top of it (each level) and the bags inside the box that is sagging.

Thank you for your great advice. I was concerning the same thing. Although the lego box is stronger than I thought, I will take your suggestion just in case:)

Have to say very envious of you guys who have space to display all your sets. Living in one bed flat my space is so limited its quite frustrating lol. I only have access to one shelf in the lounge at the moment, but am trying to negotiate with my girlfriend to let me have the other shelf:) I have about 10 large sets all ready for building but don't have the space to display. Will have to try and find room for a small/medium size book case.

Kick out girlfriend. Problem solved. ;)

Forewarning this is a picture intesive post.  It's a hot mess at the moment because I've been running very low on space and the kids like to play in there so stuff is just everywhere.  Hopefully you guys enjoy my little collection.  I've had a lot of fun putting it all together with the wife.

Lol not a bad idea except as much as I love my Lego, apart from look great on the shelf it doesn't do much else:)

I am working on splitting my displays up right now.  The GE (and future modulars), the Ecto-1, and my graduation minfigure are on my desk.  The Family House, Camper Van, SUV with Watercraft, and Coin Bank will stay in my son's room.  I also need to rebuild the Mountain Hut.  That will probably go in his room as well.  I also put away a few smaller sets to make room for the Family House. Pictures coming later :)

I went under the house today to clean it up and it was a disaster. But after a few hours i was able to move all our junk of to the side to make easy access to my lego boxes. I may be a little bit of an addict lol. Oh I'm currently missing my simpsons house box. The kids made a wreck of it and I'm fixing it.
