What Lego set did you NOT buy today?

With all of the threads for what you bought, built, or sold, I think it might be interesting to hear what some people passed up on while out shopping? Might help get an idea of what one doesn't like.

Note: Don't get crazy with this, obviously one could list every set at there local store, but that would defeat the purpose of this.  I'm hoping this might help with impulse buying, which I'm sure many of us have done from time to time...

I'd have left them too with the stickers rendering them worthless to ever-demanding buyers. Why do retailers still do this? Isn't a sticker on the shelf easier? It's not rocket science to change the price on a barcode.

Wal-Mart store pick-up has new stickers.  The CSR assured me these won't damage the boxes like the stickers they've used before, righhhhht.

Complete set of Prince of Persia.

The stickers actually come off pretty painlessly now.

I did not buy any of the winning raffle prizes again. ;)

Zilch as well. Happy to have donated though.

Creator Model Bike Shop & Cafe at TRU, haven't seen one in a long time but market isn't appreciating this set, remember the buy in being around $50's a while back.

A Technic Porsche for £140 in John Lewis (damaged box) as I think this will be around for ages and will be -50% soon enough. I'd only buy it to build as it'll be too hoarded fir a long time.

A god to honest damaged box Joker Steamroller at Toys R Us. $54.99

Hard pass at that price. May have to go back.

Well, I missed out on this for $110 off CL. 2nd time lately I've missed out on cheap trains ..... grrrrr. I hope one of you snagged it from New London, CT CL.

I think many here would sell you one for less than that. ;)

1 swamp police station 60069 at £44.99,worth going back for tomorrow?

60062 ice breaker in a worn box @ TRU

If not being first on a CL response counts as not buying :)

I'm waiting to see if some other BP'er shows up and say "I beat you!" on this one, but...

CL ad posted today that had a large list of sets (ships and trains among other things), but namely UCS 10030-1: Imperial Star Destroyer and 10129-1: Rebel Snowspeeder with instructions and boxes. Whole lot was $900.

Guess I was second in line on this congrats to whoever got the batch! Lucky sob :)

Local CL that I could not just bring myself to buy that was oh so tempting at $2: "Lego structure for sale. It's a Lego ship. Keep it set up as is or break it down and build something else!"

The ones I've got have come off easy. Clearance stickers too.

Technic 42037 Formula Off-Roader for $40 at Tuesday Morning, RRP $60.

I was in a small town in the Fenlands this morning and saw this 'interesting' shop window display.

I thought there may be a collection of retired Lego sets inside, but no such joy. The window collection was all they had. I did consider the Ninjago 70734, but the box had sun discolouration. And the Toy Story 3 box was damaged with a thumb size hole in it (top right of Disney logo).

I half expected to see a tumbleweed blow across the road as I turned away!
