With all of the threads for what you bought, built, or sold, I think it might be interesting to hear what some people passed up on while out shopping? Might help get an idea of what one doesn't like.

 

Note: Don't get crazy with this, obviously one could list every set at there local store, but that would defeat the purpose of this.  I'm hoping this might help with impulse buying, which I'm sure many of us have done from time to time...

Shows up as "5x @ $79" in my browser .. No mention of 75105. This is on desktop firefox.

I read that as there's 'nothing' you'd buy 5x of at Walmart.  Sorry if I misunderstood.

I'm guessing he didn't buy 7 Heartlake Malls at various clearance prices ranging between $54 & $79...

AH! You figured it out. Phew ... now I understand his post. He's waiting for the $30 ones

Unless I thought they would actually go to $30 and I would be able to pick them up, I'd probably buy all I can find at $54.

Deep See Exploration 60095 at walmart:  $86.05. should I pick these up?  Was on the fence on these. 

Ecto-1 already reduced by 10% was put on a 3-4-2 in the UK.  Great deal for any who picked it up but was well gone before i got there.  Also Shuttle Tydirium, already 20% off and then 3-4-2 was picked clean before i picked up the BP chatter (as was Wall-e by lunch time).  

OT but also indominus Rex and Arocs gone too FWIW.

20% Lego discount at TRU. Left Wall-E 21303 behind because the cables of the electronic security seal thingy were so tight that they cut right into the box at all sides. Also didn't buy the last but terribly abused EV 10236, I felt kinda sorry for those little fellas though.

Good price, but not real special. I wouldn't load up at truck full or anything. I picked up 4 or 5 of the similar furry creatures set about a year ago at BAM for $5 a piece. The older, larger creator sets appreciated nicely, but I'm not sure how these smaller sets will do long term. They are great little builds though.

It's retired now.  You're getting it on sale.  I'd pick them up.

Was able to go back and pick them up @$22.99 each $10 of $30 purchase at Shopko. I've been killing it of Shopko clearance this month!

Shopko clearance has been good to me this month too.

Passed on a bricklinked UCS MF for £800. Was going to treat myself given it was my birthday but that would have taken my monthly spend over 3000 for this month alone. May regret it further down the line.
