What Lego set did you NOT buy today?

Its only January and £75 is only same as a 3 for 2 offer price that will be available later in the year.

It was 2-for-2 not 3-for-2 in Tesco's last sale. I didn't bother as I didn't want a crappy 3rd set to go with it ;-)

However, there's plenty of time to fill up another pallet or two.

60 Years of the Lego Brick 40290 trying to find combinations of stuff that I have never ever planned to get or other things that I would get but otherwise priced 30 to 100% higher than I will likely find in the future

Walked away from Ship in a bottle, having been to Leicester Square with the possibility of picking a couple up to get the promos. Totally underwhelmed having seen it in person, this will need to be quite heavily discounted for me to pick it up.

I feel the same about that set, which means it'll probably be a massive winner.

I agree it's nearly as easy was walking away from a Star Wars set. I'll bite at £39.99, not a penny more.

I think it'll perform nearly as well as the Exo Suit. Not many like the SIAB so it may have a short run.

hmmm I bought 12 more ship in a bottles,  gotta figure out why I keep doing stuff wrong!  Worse case 87 more and I gotta catchy song...

75% off?

those discounts are only reserved for the UK.    It's a good flip right now like most exclusives at the beginning while they are LEGO Shop at Home exclusive and backordered.

I thought 3 cents was the standard US buy-in.

But airports ALWAYS do well. I'd go back for it if I were you.

Tempted. Was in a hurry. How much you think I could flip it for?

Made in 1984. No listings in BrickLink or Amazon.

Interesting, this says that it was released in 1987 but has 2 more pieces then what you saw

http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/2414_Airport_Building_Set

This link has the correct number of pieces but still says 1987

Not much info on Bricker

Called into a small toy shop which is closing down and had all Lego 40% off and still didn't buy anything. My expectations of discounts has become a bit skewed lately.

They still had some TMNT and Ultra Agent sets.

Nah, they lasted 6 months in Dublin a few years ago, opened in the same retail park as one of the biggest Smyths stores and proceded to charge over RRP. Funny they didn't last.

I didn’t buy: 41324 at $20.51, 70641 at $22.03, 70642 at $22.79, 41133 at $27.98. Am I messing up?

It's  hard to say. We're all too lazy to look up your set numbers and potential discount.

My son wants to the best chopper that most closely resembles the one used in the first "The Avengers" movie.  Any suggestions for a Lego version?  Of all things, I'm surprised it was never released.

Maybe the chopper from 60009 - the shape and coloring are close but you my have to swap out the landing gear for wheels.
