...and i watch summer blockbuster movies alone since my son is too young and the wife doesn't like my taste.

I go to matinees all the time on my own.  Cheap movie, and when it's killer hot or cold out, is a nice place to just relax.

other than cheaper tix, best part is no one is talking in my ear during the movie.

I went to see Man of Steel for $5. It was a super matinee! :money:

Like too many things in the world, the reason behind the policy is also probably because of legal liability (fear of getting sued). If they let a single adult in who just happened to be a pedophile and something happened, the victimized family would sue the heck out of Legoland arguing how could they let such an "obvious" potential pedophile in. It's simply easier for Legoland and their employees (less trouble and less costly in training, insurance, legal fees, etc) to just restrict access and set up an adult-only night as a workaround.

Do we have any criminal justice experts who can confirm or deny Lego's liability in a case of guest on guest crime?

Think of the many news stories you have heard about a restaurant/bar being sued because a guest was served alcohol who then started a fight or caused a drunk driving accident after leaving.
