Should I get the 9473 Mines of Moria or the 9474 Helms deep? I can't decide.

Helm's Deep. The Mines will be around at a reasonable price for much longer than HD will.

Helms Deeps hands down for me.  Good pt by JoshTX.  Even if both are EOL today and I could only buy one...I would get HD.  but to each their own...buy what you like. 

Although... Nope, just go with HD.

Difference?  They're the same price at the moment!  At least they were from the Marketplace store I got them from.

Retailers keeping items in back just to wait for a clearance sale is poor business practice.

 

Besides most retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Toy R Us, etc. don't stock Lego themselves.  Lego stocks their own product on the shelves. Just like the Frito Lay guys do in the grocery ailse or the local beer distributor does for Budweiser in the liquor ailse. If a manager at Wal-Mart removes Lego stock from the floor he or she is doing it on their own. I know, I've talked to the Lego folks that stock the shelves (I've seen and talked to the same Lego stock people at the local  Wal-Mart, Targets and TRU) and my wife is in ICS at Wal-Mart. She knows how it works.

Helm's Deep out of the two, but I believe both will do well.

Helms deep in the long run, but it's still in the EU catalogs until the end of the year, whereas mines is already EOL. So get Mines while you can, HD will be around for a while yet.

I don't think there will be anyone voting for Mines. I can find you mines here for less than 50 most likely.
