I recently started the creation of a city made of lego.

I'm working in the layout creation, lights.

Future plans are a second level for both train rails and buildings.

I added what I have so far.

Looks like a good start, good luck on your town.  Some of the modulars make for a great downtown feel as well, and the upcoming City Square would make a great centerpiece for your town as well.

Indeed, I will add modular sets, I'm still trying to figure out where to put everything tho, my available space has became limited.

Looks great, Efonsecab! One think I might add. I think many people have actually constructed their roads out of bricks. There are several tutorials on this on YouTube. It looks a bit cleaner, and it is easier to customize to the shape of your town. 

 

Huskers1236 is also correct...the modulars make your town look more busy and urban, for lack of a better word. Though expensive, they are worth every penny!! Good luck!

That is a HUGE police and fire station for such a small town.  I bet the town is super safe

That looks awesome. I want to eventually do a giant Lego work of art like this. These are so cool.

 

I really want to do a full SW Endor set up.

I know ExoBro is working on a full Movie set/studio MOC.  I hope he's successful - I really would love to see it.

 

When I was a kid, we did a full city MOC, complete with all the road plates and requisite buildings: city hall (non-modular), fire station, police station, restaurant, etc.  I remember spending hours/day/weeks/months working on it with my brother.  Great times...
