My wife has a tackle box, into which she sorts every single piece accordingly. It certainly works well.

My strategy is different: start a good movie, grab a six-pack, break open bag #1 and just go.

      I open all the bags and give the minifigures to my son to build and lose the guns, tools, helmets, ect.  Then I dump the bags and organize by color.  I start handing pieces to my daughter 1 or two dir

      I actually do the same exact thing probably out of habit after doing it for many years. One time I couldn't get this one minifigure to stand up no matter what I did so I got a baseplate and put

    I hate to move minifigures joints when I build and I wash my hands every 10 minutes or so. I once searched 30 minutes for a tan 1x6 plate(turned out LEGO switched it for a white 1x6 plate).
