Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know (courtesy of Brickset.com) that Amazon is now selling Lego to us! Hopefully we can score some deals in the future.

Here`s a link to the Lego Category.

Edited for BP pass-through link

Amazon.ca does have Lego/toys...but there was never it's own TOY 'category'.  Would be under something stupid like Home and Kitchen for example.  Now there is a Toy and Games section to filter your search.

With some decent sales this week, I'm happy to see better prices.  Hope the selection improves as well like Amazon.com

Congrats! So in the past, Amazon wouldn't ship to Canada?

Amazon.ca had a terrible selection of Lego, all from third party sellers asking outrageous prices previous to this week. Amazon, com does ship some sets to Canada, but it often varies and border duty can increase the price further. Usually, the really awesome deals on Amazon.com did not ship to Canada.

I'm so happy right now. :D I may even send the company a little thank-you email.

Not new...just small selection and majority by secondary sellers with huge mark ups (adjust for CAN pricing, cover amazon fees just like ebay, pay pal etc.).  With Amazon.ca carrying more inventory, selling and deliverying more Lego themselves looks like they are undercutting a lot of secondary sellers on the site.  Good for buyers and not good for re-sellers as Amazon.ca can offer lower prices.

Competition is good.

I'm pretty happy with what they're offering so far, quite a few sets are very close or the same price as Walmart's clearance prices and it means I don't have to set foot in a Walmart. Regarding packaging issues, I'm sure it will be like the other Amazon sites where you can get a discount if the box is banged up or ship it back which will be much then to say Amazon.com or .co.uk.

Edit: A lot of the prices have jumped back up to Canadian retail which sucks, there were some good prices I had cached on my phone.

7965 MF is cheaper than UK RRP

$40 for 9469 is a bit steep, twice UK RRP. I know the set is EOL but even so!
