Lego 3450 "MOC"

I need help. I'm super indecisive and want to know what people think about this. The idea came to me so I photoshopped it today and have all the parts (minus a few hundred I would get by pick-a-bricking) in my bricklink carts and it'd be about $250 total to do. I love it...but I thrive on other's opinions...sooo...

    First impression is that it looks great.  But than the two colour pattern got to me...IMO, I like the real green colour if possible :)

    My first idea was a copper one, like the original statue, but the only viable lego colors for that are brown and orange, which would both look terrible
