Just found on top of closet, brand new Lego set 1845 Jackpot 20th Anniversary  (1993) over 700 pieces. Is anyone interested in this, should I try to sell it or should I just give it to the grandkids?

Hi, and welcome to BrickPicker. Sorry for taking a while to get a response to you. So I looked in the BrickPicker database for a set with the number 1845 and came up with no results. Instead, I put in the term "jackpot" and got the following set: 1707-1: 20TH ANNIVERSARY JACKPOT BUCKET. I hope this is the correct one. The info in the database is very negligible, but the little bit of knowledge that is on the set is that it was released in 1993 like you said, but it says that it has 400 pieces.

Before you get discouraged, I also did a search on a site called Brickset.com, which has a huge database with pictures of most, it not all, sets released by LEGO. In their entry, all the information matches up with that provided by you <714 pieces, released in 1993, etc.> Lucky for you, there are 4 eBay listings under "Complete Listings". Of the 4, 3 of these seem to match your description. <See more at http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=lego+1845&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc>

Someone sold this set as well as another for $29.99, and another person unsuccessfully listed it for $9.99. If you were to sell it, I would list it as "MISB Vintage LEGO Lot <insert weight> 1845". However, if you are not familiar with eBay, and don't think that you will be selling a whole lot in the future, I would give it to the grandkids.

Good luck!

Good job finding all that info comic blast. Welcome to the site oldmomnewlego!

While BrickPicker has no information at all on that set, I found a link on Bricker for it.

And only two listings on BrickLink. One at $45 (used), the other at $150 (new).

I have a couple of images here for your consideration. Is one of these your item?

Oh, and welcome to the site by the way. ^_^
