I know we have a few folks from the Seattle area, thought it could be cool to have a PNW thread to call our own for some of our regional stuff that doesn't fit in other threads broadly, like discussion of Fred Meyer or Bartell Drugs?

 

Fred Meyer in particular has a good sale on right now, although they are getting cleaned out quickly:

Of the three Fred Meyer I've checked, I've had success finding Mixels 5 at Grants Pass and Beaverton (right next to 217). Struck out at Scholls Ferry/Beaverton Hillsdale. Hit my quota of 10 while leaving at least one full box at each for karma.

At Fred Meyer, there is BOGO free coupon for minecraft (on shelf). Was posted right at Lego, so I tried it. Success, but needed override.

Yeah, only reason I tried was because it was posted right beneath the minecraft Lego. I've seen no other Fred Meyer like that this weekend.

Conveniently (or not) the same weekend as the start of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Dang it. I am going to be out of town that weekend, and really want the store set on Saturday. If anyone wants to make a deal to help get me one, or will go with someone extra who I could have buy a set for me, let me know.

Based on the image this is not the same Store set (3300003) that was given away when the Alderwood store opened.  Look like this is set 40145.

Has anyone in Washington been able to get a sales tax refund from the WA Department of Revenue?

FM has a coupon this week, 20% off toys when you spend $20 or more.  No Lego exclusion, but coupon didn't work this morning so cashier did manual discount.

Picked up a few Joker polybags in Bellevue this morning, they didn't have many when I got there.

The 20% off also stacks with the Friends and Family 15% off coupon.  This is a surprise since all of the coupons they've offered lately has excluded LEGO.  Anyone find some good deals?  Nothing earth shattering at the Kirkland store.

I haven't found much worth buying locally lately. FM only has Chima or Ultra Agents on sale it seems like. 

I picked up a few newer SW sets with the coupon stack, this is the best deal at FM in a while. 

I went to a Fred Meyer near Portland today, and the Monster CMF 14 figures were there in force. Probably a dozen sealed cases on the shelf too. I smooshed a bunch. Check Fred Meyer if any of you are looking for the figs, or sealed cases. 

I found two Raptor Rampage sets at KMart and the Indominus Rex set at Fred Meyer. I have a small amount of points for KMart but no discounts for Fred Meyer. Do you think the IR is worth the buy at full price?

I have still yet to see any series 14 in person.  My area (Olympia,WA) normally has numerous places but I went out Saturday and none were to be found at Fred Meyer, ShopKo, 2 Walmarts and Target.  Will head out again today as I want to get there before they have all been smooshed to death.

I think it's hard to say right now. The fact that Fred Meyer is stocking them seems to me to indicate this recent product run will be a pretty heavy one. But based on what they did with big sets last year (ISD, AT-AT, etc) they were pretty much a one time stock and then they were gone. I'm probably going to gamble that it goes on sale at some point.

It seems weird that Target, LEGO, Walmart, and TRU don't have these sets available online (or at most stores), but that Fred Meyer would have it. I think the seal code was 31R5.

Mine has these, including Kylo Ren's ship and the new MF. In the regular aisle. Had about 8 boxes of Monster minifigs today too, none were sealed cases though. We bought a few figures, the kids loved them.

If you looking for Series 14 Minifigs then Bellevue/Overlake Fred Meyer is your new home, 12+ unopened cases.  Now all we need is a coupon.

The FM in Covington had Jokerland, Deep Sea Explorer Boat, Indominus Rex, and one other $100+ set all staged one the top shelf, no prices posted, but they all scanned at MSRP.

You are correct, I bought a bunch of Simpsons at that price, but it was a posted sale price. Series 14 rings at retail for me.

20% off city there are a few good deals, advent calendar, and the large space and underwater sets are nice buys (maybe not to flip, but to build)
